Trader Joe’s is planning to open eight new locations across the U.S., adding several locations to its “coming soon” list.

The California-based grocer currently operates in 42 states, leaving Alaska, Hawaii, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Mississippi, and West Virginia without locations.

Last week, Trader Joe's announced six new stores planned for Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Kansas and Washington. Those additions build on two locations previously revealed in July 2025 for Louisiana and Texas,

“We are actively looking at hundreds of neighborhoods across the country as we hope to open more new neighborhood stores each year,” a Trader Joe’s spokesperson told Nexstar.

3377 U.S. Hwy. 190, Mandeville, Louisiana

2428 Napoleon Ave., New Orleans, Louisiana

8111 S Dixie Hwy., West Palm Beach, Florida

2150 E Broadway Blvd., Tucson, Arizona

14035 NE Woodinville Duvall Rd., Woodinville, Washington

1000 Medley Blvd., Johns Creek, Georgia

8101 Eldorado Pkwy., McKinney, Texas
