The couple shared the exciting news with a joint post on Instagram
Matthew Atkinson is going to be a dad of two!
The Bold and the Beautiful star, 37, is expecting his second baby, a daughter, with his wife Brytnee, announcing the happy news on Instagram. In the snap, the couple stood outside together, dressed in semi-formal attire, looking down fondly with bright smiles at the soon-to-be mom of two's baby bump.
"Baby Girl Atkinson loading… 🎀," the couple captioned their joint post.
Several members of Atkinson's soap opera family congratulated the happy couple in the comment section.
"Ahhhh!! Congratulations!! So so happpy for you both! Best news!! 🤍✨" said Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, a mom of five who stars as Atkinson's onscreen sister Steffy.
Echoing MacInnes Wood's sentiments, Ashley Jones, who stars as Dr. Bridget Forrester and recently landed a role on the newer CBS drama Beyond the Gates, wrote, "Omgoodness. Y’all. 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗."
Kimberlin Brown, who portrayed the infamous villain Sheila Carter on The Bold and the Beautiful, also chimed in, saying, "Omg!!! So excited!!”

The couple's daughter will join their son, whom they welcomed back in October 2024.
Atkinson and Brytnee first revealed the happy news of their first baby together with a joint post on Instagram. In the snaps, Brytnee showed off her baby bump as she posed with her husband with a nature landscape in the background.
"Our next adventure || October 2024 🌲," she wrote.

Since then, the couple has kept their private life out of the public eye aside from small glimpses of their family.
Back in December, the doting mom shared a snap of her family of three on Instagram, posing together as the sun started to set. Brytnee held onto their baby boy as Atkinson wrapped his hands around the little one's legs.
"Our unofficial Atkinson Christmas Card 2025 🎄✨," Brytnee captioned the adorable family photo. "Merry Christmas everyone!"
