Peter Parker (Tom Holland) simply cannot catch a break in the newest *Spider-Man: Brand New Day* trailer.

The web-slinging superhero finds himself going toe-to-toe with a collection of baddies throughout the clip, but none are more surprising than his unexpected fight against Bruce Banner/The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).

To be fair, it doesn’t appear that the Hulk *wants* to fight Peter. Instead, a mysterious individual is seemingly able to use some unseen superpower to force Banner to transform into the Hulk.

As he towers over Peter, he squeaks, “I didn’t know you could get that big.”

Spidey can then be seen attempting to flee from the Hulk's rampage, sprinting down a hallway just as the fellow superhero claps his hands and unleashes a sonic blast. Their fight continues later in the clip, with Peter exploding out of a skyscraper with a webbed Hulk hot on his heels.

Other footage shows Peter going up against the Hand, Scorpion, and teaming up with Frank Castle/The Punisher (Jon Bernthal).
