Six years ago, the Doobie Brothers and Santana teamed for a “Supernatural” set of shows.
This summer, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers are together again for the Oneness Tour.
“This will be a glorious experience of sharing light, love and music at the highest vibration. Together, we’re going to lift people up, celebrate unity and make every night unforgettable,” Carlos Santana tells USA TODAY exclusively, recalling the “powerful connection” between the bands on the 2019 jaunt.
Santana will play a pair of shows at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado May 27-28 before the Oneness Tour kicks off June 13 in Chicago with the Doobie Brothers. The outing, a mix of amphitheaters and arenas, will hit cities including New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Dallas and Phoenix before wrapping Aug. 27 in Shakopee, Minnesota.

Carlos Santana and his eponymous band will hit the road in summer 2026 with the Doobie Brothers.
Ticket presales begin at 10 a.m. local time Feb. 17 via Citi (citientertainment.com), while an artist presale starts at 2 p.m. local time Feb. 17 (santana.com). The general on sale takes place at 10 a.m. local time Feb. 20 (also at santana.com).
While Santana extols the “pure fire and musicianship” he expects the bands to bring to the stage, Doobie Brothers founding member/guitarist Pat Simmons shares with USA TODAY that he’s always been enamored with Carlos Santana’s playing style and tone.
“Growing up in California and being exposed to a certain amount of Latin music opened my senses to the scales, grooves, and sounds that I heard immediately when I was introduced to that first (self-titled) Santana record,” Simmons says. “I really identify with the spiritual nature of Carlos' approach to music and life. Music is a magical bridge that can unite us all and I always feel like I’m standing on that bridge with Carlos and his band.”
The Doobie Brothers – Simmons, Tom Johnston, John McFee and Michael McDonald – have been reliable road warriors since their post-COVID 50th anniversary tour resumed in 2021. In 2025, the band released their 16th studio album, "Walk This Road."
