However, a source alleged that Markle was less enthusiastic about the arrangement, claiming, “Harry is working overtime to change her mind.” Meanwhile, the source described the disagreement as “quite the saga,” alleging that Harry and Meghan continued to “butt heads over differing priorities.”

According to the report, Harry wants Meghan by his side during his September visit. The source claimed he believes it is “crucial” to build on “the momentum” generated by their last visit. The insider further alleged that Meghan’s presence would send a “loud and clear” message that both Sussexes were welcomed back.

Still, the report said the Buckingham Palace setting mattered most to Prince Harry. The source claimed that public sightings of them staying together there could help Markle’s image. The insider said it would go far toward proving she had “the King’s stamp of approval too.”

The source also claimed Harry believed it could give her popularity in the UK “a huge boost.” For the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the UK return is being framed as both a family step and a public signal.
