Nicholas Hoult is headed to Hogwarts.
The Superman villain has been cast as Gilderoy Lockhart in the upcoming second season of HBO’s Harry Potter show, Entertainment Weekly has confirmed.
The character, a half-blood wizard with a famous (ahem) reputation, was previously portrayed by Kenneth Branagh in Harry Potter and theChamber of Secrets, the second film in the blockbuster franchise.

The small-screen Harry Potter series will star Dominic McLaughlin as young Harry as he embarks on his very first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The second season was given the greenlight by HBO in May and is expected to air in late 2027.
