Adam Vinatieri took no prisoners in his NFL career ― or his NFL Hall of Fame speech.

The kicker aimed some zingers at his former coach, Bill Belichick ― and his coach’s much younger girlfriend ― that left the audience roaring with laughter.

“I would repeat those last few statements about coach Bill Belichick as well,” Vinatieri said about halfway into his speech. “Thank you for demanding excellence every single day. Your preparation, discipline, and attention to detail shaped far more than my football career.”

“Unfortunately, Bill couldn’t make it here today. There’s a lot going on at UNC right now. He may be on a recruiting trip right now looking for the next Lawrence Taylor,” the kicker said, before poking fun at Belichick’s relationship with Jordon Hudson.

Belichick is 74 years old, while Hudson is 25 ― meaning the two have a nearly 50-year age difference.

“I thought it was because training camp had already started, but in truth, it’s because he’s judging his girlfriend’s cheerleading competition,” Vinatieri said as the audience erupted in laughter. “All jokes aside, in my opinion, Bill is the greatest coach of all time.”

Hudson and Belichick have been the subject of frequent jokes and comments due to their nearly five-decade age gap. TMZ reported that the two first met on a flight back in 2021.

The two have made many public appearances together, with Belichick indeed supporting Hudson at her adult cheerleading competitions.

Hudson has earned herself quite the reputation in recent years, as she joined Belichick on the sidelines during games at the University of North Carolina, and notably interjected during the coach’s interview with “CBS Sunday Mornings” last year.

When journalist Tony Dokoupil asked Belichick how the two met, Hudson, who was seated off to the side of the interview setup, said, “We’re not talking about this.”
