Matt Damon crashed Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show on Thursday in a Trojan horse to promote — what else? — The Odyssey.
"The horse is here and there's no kickbacks, bitch! I did it. I am here, baby," Damon declared while emerging from the statue.
The Odyssey premieres in theaters on July 17.

The Odysseystar took film promotion to a new level using the oldest trick in the book — crashing nemesisJimmy Kimmel's eponymous talk show in a Trojan horse.
While gearing up for his vacation from Jimmy Kimmel Live, the comedian was interrupted by a special delivery introduced by a horse whinnying. A UPS delivery man announced he had a giant Trojan horse statue and a coordinated baby horse statue for which Kimmel needed to sign.

"I didn't order this horse," Kimmel insisted as the miniature horse was wheeled in. "I don't know what it's doing here. We're doing the show right now." The comedian refused to sign for it, so sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez jumped in to gladly claim the mysterious gift.
While asking if there was somebody to get the statue off the stage, Damon pulled an Odysseus and popped out of the Trojan horse. The audience erupted with applause.
"The horse is here and there's no kickbacks, bitch! I did it. I am here, baby," Damon declared.
"I have traveled far and wide through waves and war to save this audience from mediocrity," Damon continued.
Kimmel, baffled, asked the Bourneactor how long he had been inside the horse. "Did the Knicks win?" Damon asked in response. Kimmel and Damon bantered back and forth about the movie Damon is promoting, which isn't called We Bought a Horse despite Kimmel's good guess.

"It is called The Odyssey," Damon said. "It's based on a book, so you probably don't know about it."

"Did you do this movie specifically so you could sneak into this room in a Trojan horse? That is the saddest thing I've ever heard. What a loser you are," Kimmel said.

Damon fired back: "I did this movie so I could say that horse is a Trojan, which is something your dad should have used on his little wiener instead of having you." Insults flew, and Damon and Kimmel battled it out with pool noodles.
Also starring in The Odyssey, directed by Christopher Nolan, are Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Charlize Theron, Zendaya, John Leguizamo, Jon Bernthal, and Lupita Nyong'o.
