Kendra Wilkinson has turned the page on her former life.
“Sexy is the last thing I want to be,” the former Playboy model said in the caption to an August 10 Instagram post. “I aim for health, happiness, success and gods light. Peace is everything to me.”
Wilkinson, who turned 41 in June, was just 18 when she first moved into the Playboy Mansion. She began starring on the E! reality show, The Girls Next Doorwhen she was 19. Now a realtor, she’s been clapping back at critics of her appearance. “Sometimes I feel the negativity in the world but then I remember how amazing I am and get right back to it,” she shared. “It’s not easy being a ‘public figure’ while figuring out life and its ups and downs but god gave me this platform for whatever reason. LOL. 😂”

The mom of two — who shares son Hank Randall IV, 14, and daughter Alijah Mary, 12, with ex-husband Hank Baskett III — went on to say that she is aware of the negative comments: “I see people poking at me for my body and my aging and it’s ok. I’m at peace and none of that stuff bothers me. I am happy being me and alive and watching my kids grow. If people want to be negative, that’s their energy not mine.”
She continued: “I’m ok not being Playboy skinny anymore or bleached blonde 21 yr old. That was a time of my life but now I’m older and have lived a life.”

Wilkinson ended her post by saying, “I forgive myself for all the things and can breathe in life a different way now. Life is good and I am so blessed and grateful!!”

A fellow reality alum — Real Housewives of Orange Countystar Gina Kirschenheiter chimed in with words of support, writing, “You’re beautiful! Working hard, evolving and having self acceptance is so sexy! Good for you Kendra!”
Wilkinson has been open about her health journey, including using a GLP-1 medication and embracing aging. “For some reason I’m happier than I’ve ever been lately even with a little weight gain and wrinkles,” she has said, “and I’m not going to tie my happiness again into the negative energy.”
