- Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin are opening up about the trespassing incident that occurred in their Los Angeles home.

- The husband and wife were at home when an unidentified man allegedly trespassed on their property.

- The *Suite Life of Zack & Cody* star reportedly held the individual at gunpoint until authorities arrived.

Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin refuse to let one scary situation ruin their suite life.

Three days after the former *Suite Life of Zack & Cody* star tackled an alleged trespasser on the lawn of the couple's Hollywood Hills estate, the actor and his supermodel wife walked the red carpet at the New York City premiere of *The Devil Wears Prada 2*. Faced with questions about the alleged home invasion attempt, the couple kept things light as they breezed past the frightening incident.

"It's dealing with the trauma with jokes and fun," Palvin, 32, told E! News at the event when asked how they've been coping.

"I thought it was funny," Sprouse, 33, chimed in at her side, adding that he's "really not a 'too soon' guy" when it comes to comedy.

"We're laughing about things the moment they happen," he continued. "You got to have levity in life. Thankfully, no one was hurt and there was no more violence than what happened. So, it's all okay."

Sprouse and Palvin made good on that promise and continued cracking jokes throughout the night. On one occasion, they playfully called each other out for having food stuck in their teeth. And while chatting with other reporters, Sprouse showed off his karate skills.

"I'm surprised you're not in a cape tonight, you just had a pretty heroic experience," an *Access Hollywood* reporter said to Sprouse elsewhere on the red carpet.

The former Disney alum immediately looked to his wife, who laughed.

"You gotta get me a cape," he told her. "See, you heard it here first."

Then offering a demonstration, Sprouse said, "Here's how I'm doing— you ready?" He then showed off some moves, pretending to punch and karate chop an invisible assailant while making action movie sound effects. At his side, Palvin laughed and shook her head.

"That's how I'm doing. That's enough said," Sprouse eventually answered, quipping, "I'm not gonna do a full play-by-play, but there was a lot of karate involved."

On a more serious note, Palvin added, "It was a very unfortunate situation and I'm just happy that we're here and we can get this night — distraction — [with] everyone safe."

On Saturday, reports emerged that Sprouse had tackled an alleged attempted home invader outside of the couple's home on Friday morning. Per the *Los Angeles Times*, Palvin called the Los Angeles Police Department around 12:30 a.m. local time to report a possible burglary.
