Colin Jost won't be bringing home Olympic gold, but he will be packing a very different kind of souvenir from his 2026 Winter Games coverage.

Over the weekend, the* Saturday Night Live *star thrust himself into the middle of a major Olympics scandal by offering his take on Crotchgate — and how it might spice up life with wife, Scarlett Johansson.

For the uninitiated, the drama revolves around the recent revelation that some Olympic ski-jumpers have attempted to gain an advantage in the event by injecting their penises with hyaluronic acid before getting measured for their suits, in order to get an aerodynamic advantage.

"I’ve been following Crotchgate very closely," Jost told NBC's Mike Tirico while covering the Games remotely from Lake Placid, N.Y. "I've had my eye on all of the crotches, and I wanted to really get myself in the mindset."

After displaying a number of headlines reporting on the Crotchgate controversy, the camera then cut back to a fully clothed Jost, but now with a comically large area of his lower body blurred out.

"I’ve been injecting, I’d say, maybe too much hyaluronic acid," he said, then quipped of his wife, "Scarlett's excited."

He continued, "It's going to be fun, we’re gonna see if I can break all kinds of records. I might be able to jump all the way to Italy with this thing. So watch out. Watch out, Olympians. I’m coming for you."

So how exactly would hyaluronic acid help jumpers cheat? Artificially enlarging their crotch area, either by injecting their genitals with engorging chemicals or stuffing their underwear to create bigger bulges, allows the athletes to alter their suit measurements. Ski jumpsuits are precisely tailored to jumpers' bodies, and increasing the surface area can potentially help them gain a boost in jumps.

As International Ski and Snowboard Federation Ski Jumping Men’s Race Director Sandro Pertile put it, "Every extra centimeter on a suit counts. If your suit has a 5 percent bigger surface area, you fly further."

The Crotchgate allegations, first reported by a German media outlet, have not only become an instant hit on the Internet — they've also caught the attention of the World Anti-Doping Agency. Though no athletes have been implicated by name, the organization's president assured reporters that the situation will be investigated.

"I promise you I’m going to look at it," said WADA President Witold ­Banka.

Elsewhere in his Olympics coverage, Jost had an immersive experience with another Winter Games sport: bobsledding.

"I went down the bobsled, I went from start point one at the top with a very gifted driver, thankfully, Bryan Berghorn," Jost explained, citing the Team USA athlete. "And I was not prepared for the level of terror of this bobsled. I swear to God, I thought I was going to die."

He then shared a clip of his experience, in which Jost could be heard screaming as the wind whipped around him, with the sled flying down the track and around its curves. "Holy shit," Jost exclaims at one point.

"I thought my back was going to snap in half," he told Tirico. "I thought my bones were going to fly off my body and be littered all up and down the bobsled track. It was by far the scariest experience I’ve ever had in my life.”
