Chris Martin went the extra mile to make a bride and groom's wedding day extra special.

The Coldplay frontman, 48, serenaded newlyweds Abbie and James Hotchkiss at their reception, according to Storyful. While playing the piano, Martin sang his band's hit love ballad "All My Love" for the couple's first dance.

The sweet surprise was organized by the groom's mother, who reached out to the singer-songwriter to ask for a congratulatory video message. Martin went above and beyond, shocking everyone when he casually arrived to perform live at the celebration on Saturday, Dec. 13, at Blithfield Lakeside Barns in Rugeley, England.

Footage from the wedding shows family and friends of the couple gathered around the dance floor, filming and watching in awe as the British rocker performed Abbie and James' slow dance song. Afterward, Martin hugged the newlyweds as guests applauded before blowing a kiss and making a quick exit.

According to the BBC, after receiving the groom's mother's video request, Martin offered to fly in by helicopter and perform in person. He strolled inside incognito, wearing a light beanie and relaxed attire.
