Brigette Bardot, a French actress, model and singer, has died at age 91. The Brigitte Bardot Foundation announced the news in a statement shared with the French news agency AFP.
Bardot began her career in the 1950s and pioneered the iconic 1960s look (bouffant, winged liner and nude lip) that made her an iconic figure in the fashion and beauty world.
The star of classics such as And God Created Woman, Contempt and Love on a Pillow, Bardot became involved in controversies in her later years.
