*Storage Wars* reality star Brandi Passante has a very personal response to the death of Darrell Sheets, her cost on the A&E series.

"I’m at a loss for words! I’ve known Darrel Sheets for many years. I’m just so very sorry, to hear the circumstances of his passing. My heart hurts for Brandon, Zoe, and Kimber," Passante wrote on Instagram about the apparent suicide of Sheets on Wednesday.

"I unfortunately lost a parent and a brother to similar situations," she continued. "I would like to say to everyone, if you are struggling, if you feel hopeless or like no one cares. I assure you they do!! You are not alone."

Sheets, who appeared on 163 episodes of *Storage Wars,* died Wednesday in Lake Havasu City, Ariz., at age 67.

He was found dead by police at a residence from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

"On April 22, 2026, at approximately 0200 hours, officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 1500 block of Chandler Drive in reference to a reported deceased individual" the Lake Havasu Police Department said in a release. "Upon arrival, officers located a male subject who suffered from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The male was pronounced deceased on scene and the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit was notified and responded to the scene to assume the investigation."

Passante offered words of encouragement to anyone who suffering emotional distress and feeling alone in the world.

"Please reach out for help," she wrote. "You are not taking your pain away, you are transferring it to someone else. The grief from suicide is endless. There is always help… You can Dial 988 on your phone to connect with a counselor and resources. Never suffer in silence!"

*Storage Wars *follows professional buyers who bid on auctioned storage lockers, hoping to nab lucrative and valuable items hidden within. Sheets appeared as an avid buyer in the first 15 seasons of the competition series, often alongside his son Brandon. The elder Sheets earned the nickname "The Gambler" and was known for his catchphrase, "This is the WOW factor!"

"We are saddened by the passing of a beloved member of our *Storage Wars* family, Darrell 'The Gambler' Sheets," A&E shared in a statement to **. "Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time."
