Anne Hathaway continues to show off her baby bump after speaking out on 'fake bump' rumors

Anne Hathaway has proudly shown off her growing baby bump once again after hitting back at online trolls who claimed her pregnancy was "fake".

The 43-year-old The Odyssey star looked stunning as she arrived at the El Capitan Entertainment Centre in Los Angeles ahead of an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, August 10. Anne showcased her blossoming bump in an all-black ensemble, wearing a flowing, sleeveless button-up top with just one button fastened.

She completed the elegant look with low-rise trousers and heeled mules, wearing her long dark hair in beachy waves, and accessorizing with chunky gold jewellery and oval-shaped sunglasses. Her latest appearance comes shortly after the actress addressed speculation that she was wearing a prosthetic baby bump.

Earlier the same day, Anne took to Instagram following backlash over a "ridiculous" maternity outfit she wore over the weekend. She wrote in the caption of one of her Instagram posts amid her ongoing press tour, "Fake hair, real bump."

The backlash came after the actress attended the Los Angeles premiere of her latest film, The End Of Oak Street, where her red-carpet look quickly went viral. Anne wore a custom baby blue high-low Prabal Gurung halter top featuring a silk, floor-grazing train, paired with low-rise jeans.

However, some social media users questioned whether her bump was genuine and accused the star of wearing a prosthetic. Anne announced earlier this summer that she is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman, whom she married in 2012.

The couple already share two sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, six. While appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers in July, Anne opened up about discovering she was pregnant again.

She said, "I mean, we knew what we were doing, but we were so shocked it worked! We were so shocked it went this way."

She admitted how surprised she and her husband were by the unexpected baby news and jokingly described the pregnancy as a "buzzer beater."

Speaking further about becoming pregnant in her 40s, she recently told Access Hollywood, "There's always hope until there's not, but when you get to a certain age, that hope looks like 1 percent to 2 percent. So we just decided to see where life took us, with a very, very healthy, realistic expectation, which was very low."

Anne added, "We're overjoyed because we just know from personal experience that not everybody gets this, and certainly not when you want it - sometimes not ever."
