While many celebrities are pet owners, some take a more-is-more approach with their furry friends.
Indeed, stars like Millie Bobby Brown and Kevin Bacon own not one but dozens of animals. The two actors can be found on their farms in Georgia and Connecticut, respectively, when they’re not at work in Hollywood.
“I love animals, they are a joy to be around and they’re very, very calming for me,” Bacon told PEOPLE in November 2023.
Mike Tyson, meanwhile, has “hundreds, maybe a thousand” pigeons in cities across the country. “Pigeons got me out of trouble, pigeons got me into trouble, and it’s just been my whole life,” he told PEOPLE in March 2025.

Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi

Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, care for a multitude of animals on their Georgia farm.
“I have 25 farm animals, and then I have 23 foster dogs, and then I have 10 dogs in my house that are my personal dogs and four cats,” the Stranger Things star said during a March 2025 interview with BBC Radio 1.
Brown also revealed that her dogs sleep in “real single beds” and that Bongiovi has one rule: Only one dog is allowed in their bed at a time.

Martha Stewart cares for a slew of animals on her 153-acre estate inKatonah, N.Y., including dogs, cats, peacocks, chickens, horses, donkeys and geese.
“They’re very friendly birds — and they talk to me,” Stewart said of her peacocks in an August 2023 interview with PEOPLE. “Whenever I go by their enclosure, I talk to them. I go, ‘Awk, awk.’ I make their noise, and they talk right back to me.”

Tyson is famously fond of pigeons.
“I own hundreds of pigeons,” the retired boxer told PEOPLE in March 2025. “I own some in California and New Jersey. I have some in Florida. I have some in Vegas. I have hundreds, maybe a thousand.”
“I’ve done pigeons longer than I’ve done anything — boxing and everything,” he added.

Lisa Vanderpump’s animal family includes several horses, dogs and swans. In 2021, the reality TV star appeared as a celebrity judge on Rebel Wilson’s dog grooming competition showPooch Perfect.
“I think people just think of me when they think of dogs,” Vanderpump told PEOPLE at the time.

Bacon and his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, share their Connecticut farm with a variety of animals, including four goats, two pigs, three miniature horses and three alpacas.
The couple have gone viral for sharing glimpses of their farm life on TikTok. “People were like, ‘We love you singing with the goats,’ ” Sedgwick told PEOPLE in March 2023.

Amanda Seyfried is living her “dream” on her non-profit animal rescue farm in upstate New York, where she and her family care for horses, chickens, cats, goats, donkeys, ducks and dogs.
“I love animals and I love to be surrounded by them, and I wanted space,” she said during an August 2019 appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. “I love the countryside and the forest. I grew up in suburbia. I always wanted to ride horses and we didn’t have the funds to do that. I do ride horses now.”

Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder adopted two baby cows in 2021 and have since expanded to 17 pets, according to The Observer.
“They’re both super sweet and very silly,” Reed told PEOPLE of the couple’s cows in April 2021. “They’re something so special about baby cows ... They’re little goofballs.”
In addition to their cows, Reed and Somerhalder also own several chickens, dogs, cats and goats.
Zayn Malik

During a July 2023 appearance on Call Her Daddy, Zayn Malik said he had six chickens, three dogs, three cats and three turtles. The One Direction alum no longer names all of his pets, however, because he once got “too attached” to a chicken who died.
Malik recalled bringing the chicken, who was sick, to the vet.
“The vet laughed at me and said ‘People don’t bring chickens here,’ ” he said. “And then they still charged me for an X-Ray and then I took my chicken all the way home and cried. And she died in my arms.”
“I’ve got new chickens now,” he added. “And they’re all healthy and stuff, but I didn’t name them for that reason.”
